Pritheeva Rasaratnam

Pritheeva Rasaratnam is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in regulatory and corporate law. Currently serving as Deputy General Counsel and Director of Regulatory & Corporate Legal at the Financial Conduct Authority since January 2024, Pritheeva previously held the position of Director of Regulatory Risk & Supervision at the Information Commissioner's Office on secondment from the FCA from November 2022 to December 2023. Pritheeva's career at the Financial Conduct Authority spanned over 14 years, during which various leadership roles were undertaken including Head of Department for Risk & Compliance Oversight, Pensions & Funds Policy, and Pensions, Insurance and Retail Distribution Policy. Before joining the FCA, Pritheeva practiced as a Solicitor in the Litigation Department at Ashurst from March 2002 to July 2007. Pritheeva holds a Bachelor's Degree in Law from the University of Oxford and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Nottingham Law School.
