Thomas Deighton

Thomas Deighton is currently a Supervision, Policy & Competition Graduate Associate at the Financial Conduct Authority, focusing on asset management since September 2025. Earlier roles include First Team Vice-Captain and Development and Outreach Officer at Oxford University Association Football Club, and a Level 7 football referee certified by Sheffield & Hallamshire FA. Additionally, Thomas served as an Ambassador for the School of Geography and the Environment at the University of Oxford and previously completed a 10-week internship with the Financial Conduct Authority in the payments and digital assets sector. Thomas co-founded and served as Vice President of the Regent's Park College ESG Society while also managing the budget as Treasurer of the Oxford Energy Society. Experience also includes communications work for Football For Future and a sports coaching role at Camp America. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Oxford and A-Levels and GCSEs from Penistone Grammar School.
