The Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco
Kate Hanley serves as the Assistant Events Manager and Special Event Coordinator at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, where responsibilities include project management and administrative coordination for various fundraising events. Previous experience includes roles as a Housing Specialist at Nan McKay and Associates, managing grant applications; an ARC Associate for the Chicago Human Rhythm Project, assisting in dance classes and social media campaigns; and an Art History Undergraduate Program Assistant at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where event coordination and mentorship were key responsibilities. Additional internships include work with Arts Alliance Illinois and the Contemporary Art Center, as well as participation in research on Asian American representation at Miami University. Kate holds a Master of Arts in Arts Administration and Policy from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Language and Culture and Art and Architecture History from Miami University, complemented by a study abroad experience in Chinese Studies at Tianjin Foreign Studies University.
