Gretchen Stelter

Gretchen Stelter has a diverse work experience. Gretchen began their career in 2016 as a Beach Director, Lifeguard Instructor, Lifeguard, and Head Lifeguard at the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection. In 2017, they took on the roles of Recreation Supervisor, Recreation Specialist, Lifeguard Manager, and Lifeguard at Clemson Campus Recreation. Gretchen then became the Secretary of the Clemson Club Swim Team in 2018, the Communications Chair of the Clemson University Club Sports Association in 2020, a Research Clerk at the BGR Group in 2020, and a Development Intern at The Wilson Center in 2019. In 2021, they became a Server/Bartender at Surfridge Brewery East, and in 2022 they took on the roles of Medical Assistant at Middlesex Health and F45 Trainer at F45 Training, as well as Brand Ambassador at The Long Drink Company.

Gretchen Stelter's education history includes a High School Diploma from East Lyme High School, obtained in 2017, and a Bachelor's degree in Spanish & International Health, with a Minor in Psychology, obtained from Clemson University in 2021. Gretchen has also obtained several certifications, including a Personal Trainer Certification from the American Council on Exercise (ACE Fitness) in September 2022, an Emergency Medical Technician Basic (Coal Mine) from the Connecticut Department of Public Health in April 2022, a Lifeguarding Instructor from the American Red Cross in October 2021, and an American Red Cross Lifeguard Certificate in June 2021.
