Katie Harper

Katie Harper has extensive experience in the fintech sector, currently serving as a Mentor at Duke Innovation and Entrepreneurship and the Melissa & Doug Entrepreneurship Accelerator, and as an Investor at The Fintech Fund. Previously, Katie held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Kard and was the Head of Operations at Upwave, where significant growth was achieved from seed to series B. Katie also contributed as a Community Strategist for This Week in Fintech and served on the Duke Band Alumni Association Board as Vice President, focusing on fundraising and event execution. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Russian from Duke University and incomplete studies toward a Master of Science in Digital Forensics at James Madison University.
