Ignacio Chavarria

Ignacio Chavarria is an experienced chef and entrepreneur, currently serving as Chef at The Firehouse Restaurant since September 2016 and as Owner/Chef at Tasty Roots organic foods since March 2013. With a strong emphasis on health through nutrition, Tasty Roots promotes the importance of food choices with the philosophy, “you can pay the farmer now or pay the doctor later.” Ignacio has also held various chef roles including Banquet Chef at Mulvaney's B&L, Executive Team Chef for Sacramento Republic FC, Catering Chef at Cal Poly State University, and Chef at Side Car Restaurant. Ignacio's culinary journey began with formal education at Cuesta College and Le Cordon Bleu, reflecting a solid foundation in culinary science.
