Derek Simonsen

Derek Simonsen is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in business banking, currently serving as Vice President - Business Banker at The First National Bank in Sioux Falls since June 2014. Prior to this role, Derek worked at Wells Fargo where responsibilities included training in business banking, financial and statistical analyses, as well as managing significant loan volumes and client relationships. Earlier career experience includes a position as Member Service Officer at Sioux Falls Federal Credit Union. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Dakota State University, along with specialized training from Southern Methodist University's ABA Graduate Commercial Lending School and ABA Commercial Lending School.
