Avi Pilcer

Avi Pilcer has a diverse and extensive work experience. Avi started their career as a Bioinformatician at BINA - Bar Ilan Institute for Nanotechnology and Advanced materials in 2012. From there, they worked as a Data Scientist at Cognitiv Technologies, where they developed and sold a SAAS for autonomous machine learning robots.

In 2017, Avi joined Geyser Light Capital as a Deep Learning Research Engineer, where they coded a platform for portfolio management and managed REST API connections to cryptocurrency exchanges. Avi also worked at Motorola Solutions as an AI Researcher, where they used Python and deep learning techniques for image and video analytics.

Avi then served as Chief Data Scientist at Seekuence Labs, managing a team of data scientists and developing a platform for real-time analysis of encrypted internet traffic using TensorFlow and other technologies. Avi also designed proprietary neural networks and applied computer vision architectures to sequence analysis.

In 2019, Avi became the Chief Scientist at 1702ai, where they managed a data science team and provided surveillance solutions for smart cities. Avi optimized retraining and FP management for CCTV cameras and integrated the solutions with clients' infrastructure.

Avi's entrepreneurial journey continued in 2020 when they founded Quantum TLV, a Tel Aviv meetup and think tank focused on Quantum computing. The organization trains the Israeli tech community for jobs in Quantum computing and explores the implications of Quantum computing in AI and Blockchain.

In 2021, Avi founded Waterwood Finance and took on the role of Founder & Chief Blockchain Officer. The company introduced a Cryptocurrency that produces negative inflation while generating high returns. Avi's role involved promoting the cryptocurrency and generating passive income for users.

In 2022, Avi started working as a Computer Vision Research Engineer at The Fitting Room. Their role is focused on computer vision research.

Also in 2022, Avi founded Ultra Deep Tech and became the Founder and CEO of the company.

Avi Pilcer attended Université Henri Poincaré, Nancy 1 from 2000 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mathematics and Physics. Avi then went on to study at Télécom SudParis from 2003 to 2006, obtaining a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Industrial Engineering and Management.
