Lys Hanlon

Lys Hanlon is an experienced health education professional currently serving as Health Education Specialist II at The Floating Hospital since March 2020, with previous roles as Health Education Specialist and Community Liaison and Health Educator. Prior to this, Lys worked as a server at Moosewood Restaurant from August 2019 to January 2020 and led the Festival CRT (Compost, Recycling, Trash) initiative at Tompkins County Recycling and Solid Waste Center from May 2019 to November 2019. Academic experience includes serving as an Eco Rep and Gardener at Ithaca College, where Lys earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from 2016 to 2019, and a brief stint at the University of South Carolina in 2015-2016.
