Vasileios Magias

Vasileios Magias has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. From December 2022 to present, they work as a System & Security Operations Engineer at The Floow, where they ensure the maintenance and security of IT systems. Prior to that, they worked at Ovarro from June 2019 to November 2021, starting as a Design Engineer and later becoming a Senior Project Engineer. In these roles, they focused on delivering SCADA/Telemetry solutions and control systems, collaborating within Agile teams. Vasileios also has teaching experience as a Computer Science Teacher trainee at King Ecgbert School from September 2018 to December 2018. Additionally, Vasileios has worked at ANDRONAKIS S.A. as a FT – Controllers Production Assistant and was responsible for computer network and information systems. Vasileios has also pursued further education with a PGCE in Computer Science and an MSc in Computer and Network Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University.

Vasileios Magias has a solid education background in computer science and engineering. Vasileios completed their Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineer Technology/Technician from the Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki, where they studied from 2008 to 2017. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer and Network Engineering at Sheffield Hallam University from 2017 to 2018. Vasileios furthered their education by obtaining a Postgraduate Certificate in Education in Computer Science from Sheffield Hallam University in 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Vasileios Magias has also obtained several certifications in Azure DevOps through LinkedIn. Vasileios earned certifications in various aspects of Azure for DevOps, including Continuous Delivery with YAML Pipelines, Application Infrastructure, Continuous Integration, Designing a Strategy, and Implementing Development Processes. These certifications were obtained between December 2020 and March 2021.
