Gill Wilson is an experienced professional in the dental and finance sectors, currently serving as the Manager of Dental at The Fono since December 2022. Previous roles include Practice Manager at ClearlyDental and Head of Client Care at Expat Dental. Wilson has a strong background in finance, having held positions such as Mortgage Specialist at Liberty Financial Pty Ltd and Personal Banker at Police Bank Ltd. A graduate of Kaplan Australia with a Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking, as well as possessing a Certificate IV in Dental Assisting from TAFE NSW, Wilson has built a diverse skill set that encompasses team leadership, patient management, and sales coaching over a career spanning more than two decades.

The Fono provides affordable services including medical, dental, pharmacy, health promotion, mental health services, social services, education and Whanau Ora spread across six locations in Auckland and Northland. The Fono is a proven leader in delivering health outcomes for the people who need it the most, fostering well, safe, vibrant and informed communities. The Fono is a result of affiliation agreements between The West Fono Health Trust and Pasifika Horizon Healthcare (2013) and The Peoples Centre Trust (2012). By pooling resources and combining organisations, Auckland communities have more readily accessible quality health services available. The Fono is focused and committed to reducing the health inequalities of communities by finding innovative ways to deliver culturally appropriate services across all of our locations.
