Hays Formella

Hays Formella has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries. They most recently worked at The Food Group as a Senior Social Media Strategist starting in May 2022. Prior to that, Hays worked at Kohler Co. from May 2019 to May 2022 as a Sr. Communications Specialist, focusing on social media in the hospitality and real estate sectors.

Before joining Kohler Co., Hays worked at Harken Inc. for six years. During their time at Harken Inc., they held two roles simultaneously - Performance Apparel Brand Manager from August 2017 to May 2019 and Social Media Marketing Manager from June 2013 to May 2019.

In addition, Hays gained experience in sales and marketing as a Sales & Marketing Associate at Great Lakes Distillery from May 2013 to August 2014. They also worked as a Strategic Communications professional at Skills Pipeline from June 2013 to December 2013, where they contributed to the development of a digital marketing plan and managed promotional activations with strategic partners.

Hays began their career as a Digital & Social Media Intern at 2-Story Creative in 2012. They then worked as an Outerwear Sales Specialist at Erehwon Mountain Outfitter from May 2011 to August 2012 and as a Bottle Reclamation Program Coordinator at Great Lakes Distillery from May 2011 to August 2011.

Furthermore, Hays has experience in the sports industry, having worked as a Sailing Coach at Milwaukee Yacht Club from May 2008 to August 2010 and as a Co-Founder of the Milwaukee Youth Sailing Team from August 2008 to June 2009.

Hays Formella attended Marquette University High School from 2005 to 2009. Following their high school education, they pursued further studies at Indiana University Bloomington from 2009 to 2013. During their time at the university, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Journalism and a minor in Business Marketing.
