In 2014, Slaton took on the position of Coach at One on One Sports Training, which they held until April 2015. In 2015, they joined The Ford Store Morgan Hill as a Sales Consultant.
DJ Slaton completed their high school education at Palma High School from 2006 to 2010, earning a High School Diploma with a focus on College Prep. Following this, they pursued a degree in Communications at San Jose State University from 2010 to 2015, specializing in Business Communications.
