Caitlin Kern has extensive experience in the winery and events management industry, currently serving as the Director of Brand Home & DTC at The Foreign Affair Winery since April 2014, with prior roles including DTC & Hospitality Director and General Manager of Retail Sales & Events. Previous positions include Retail & Special Events Manager at Keint-he Winery & Vineyards and Events & Customer Relations Manager at The Foreign Affair Winery. Caitlin's expertise encompasses event coordination, customer relations, and team training, along with active participation in regional tourism committees. Additionally, Caitlin has a background in event coordination at The Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital Foundation and a team leadership role at Steeped Tea Inc. Educational qualifications include an Advanced Level 3 certificate from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust and studies at Niagara College.

The name Foreign Affair is a nod to the journey of our Founders Len and Marisa Crispino, While living as expats in Italy, they had an affair with an Italian temptress... wine that is. They returned home with a dream to innovate the old-world technique of winemaking 'Appassimento' whereby grapes are dried before being pressed, in the Niagara region. Today, The Foreign Affair Winery is recognized as a pioneer of this style in Canada, and offers a portfolio of award-winning bold red wines, and elegant white wines.
