Monika Collins has a diverse work experience spanning from 2006 to 2022. Monika is currently serving as the Vice President for Advancement and Philanthropic Services at The Foundation For Delaware County. Previously, they worked as an Independent Consultant, specializing in fundraising, from 2019 to 2022. Before that, they held roles at Sciencenter from 2015 to 2019, including Sr. Director of External Relations and Director of Development and Community Relations. From 2010 to 2014, they worked at Illinois Humanities as the Director of Development and prior to that as a Development Associate. Monika started their career at Humanities West, where they served as the Assistant to the Executive Director from 2006 to 2009.

Monika Collins holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree from the University of Chicago. Monika also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History from The University of New Mexico. Additionally, they have obtained a certification as a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy from The American College of Financial Services.

The Foundation For Delaware County

A public charity founded in 2016, The Foundation for Delaware County is the largest philanthropy serving Delaware County. The Foundation partners with others to lead initiatives and programs that address the issues and challenges faced by Delaware County and its people. The Foundation is a community foundation, one of 780 across the country, it is headquartered in Media with offices in Eddystone, Upper Darby and Springfield. The Foundation makes grants to improve the well-being of the diverse residents in this thriving county, with emphases that include maternal and children's health, food insecurity, community and economic development, and support for those living with cancer.
