Joshua Howe has extensive experience in workforce development and training, currently serving as the Deputy Executive Director of Workforce Training and Remote Working at the Maine Community College System since August 2021. Previously, Joshua worked as a Workforce Development Program Coordinator for the State of Maine's Department of Labor from August 2016 to August 2021 and served as an IT Business Analyst at the State of Maine's Office of Information Technology from October 2013 to August 2016. Prior roles include a Rehabilitation Consultant and Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor at the Department of Labor, an Adjunct Instructor at Central Maine Community College, and a Children's Case Manager at Tri-County Mental Health Services. Joshua began the professional journey as a Psychiatric Nursing Assistant at Hommerton Hospital. Joshua holds a Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling from Assumption University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English Literature from Clark University. Further education includes attending the Harvard Kennedy School.
