Ashley Gonzalez

Education Director at The Foundation Schools

Ashley Gonzalez has held a number of roles in the education and marketing fields. In 2010, they began their career as a Marketing and Events Coordinator for Rolly Pollies of Maryland. In 2012, they moved to Playseum, where they were a Marketing and Special Events Coordinator. In 2013, they became a SPED Teacher Intern at Foundation School, and in 2014, they became a SPED Teacher/High School Mathematics at Board of Child Care. In 2016, they returned to Foundation School as a SPED Diagnostic Prescriptive Teacher and SPED Teacher/High School Mathematics. In 2017, they began teaching as an Adjunct Professor at The George Washington University - Graduate School of Education and Human Development. Finally, in 2019, they were appointed Education Director at The Foundation Schools.

Ashley Gonzalez attended Pennsylvania State University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Integrative Arts. Ashley then attended The George Washington University from 2013 to 2014, where they earned a Master of Education (MEd) in Special Education for Children with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders. Finally, they returned to The George Washington University from 2018 to 2019 to earn a Post-Master's Certificate in Educational Leadership and Administration.
