Shirin Hasan

Shirin Hasan has extensive work experience in the field of clinical affairs and medical research. Shirin is currently serving as the Vice President of Clinical & Medical Affairs at The Foundry since March 2023. Prior to that, Shirin worked at Agilent Technologies, where they held the positions of Associate Vice President and Senior Director in the Global Clinical Affairs department from May 2018 to August 2022 and May 2018 to October 2019 respectively. Before joining Agilent, Shirin worked at Medtronic (Minimally Invasive Therapies Group) for a notable duration of 12 years, serving as the Director of Global Clinical Affairs from April 2006 to May 2018. Shirin was responsible for managing and executing clinical trials worldwide, focusing on gastrointestinal diseases. Before that, they worked at Applied Imaging Corp as a Clinical Manager from March 2000 to April 2006. Additionally, Shirin has prior experience at Dendreon as a Senior Research Associate and Manufacturing Manager and at Anagen Technologies as a Research Associate, both in 1995.

Shirin Hasan has a Master of Science degree in Biochemistry from San Jose State University/Stanford University. Shirin also holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biochemistry from Jobs For Women. Their undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biochemistry and Life Sciences from St. Xavier's College.
