Karen Ambrose has extensive experience in data management and scientific computing, currently serving as the Chief Data Officer and previously as the Database Team Lead at The Francis Crick Institute since April 2014. Prior to this role, Karen held several positions at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute from January 2000 to April 2014, including Principal DBA, Senior DBA, Acting Team Leader for Database Applications, Senior Computer Programmer/Development DBA, and Interface/Database Programmer.
