Matthew Williams

Matthew Williams is a seasoned finance and laboratory management professional with a diverse background in scientific finance and operations. Currently working at The Francis Crick Institute since April 2015, Matthew has held various roles including Finance Workday Systems Analyst, Scientific Finance Support Manager, Quadrant Laboratory Operations Manager, and Laboratory Manager. Prior to this, Matthew served as a Board of Trustees Member for the Lambeth Elfrida Rathbone Society from June 2012 to April 2017, contributing to support initiatives for individuals with learning disabilities. Matthew's experience in laboratory management began at the Medical Research Council, where roles included Laboratory Manager and Postdoctoral Research Assistant from August 2005 to March 2015. Matthew earned a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from Imperial College London between 1996 and 1999.
