Richard Rabena is an experienced operations executive with a robust background in facility management and project oversight. Currently serving as the Vice President of Operations and Capital Projects at The Franklin Institute since October 2000, Richard manages the physical plant, exhibit repairs, and union staff, while also leading construction management projects, including a significant 60,000 sq ft addition. Previously, Richard held the position of Senior Vice President Operations at The Franklin Institute Science Museum from October 2001 to February 2023, and as Director of Operations at Correstates Center from March 1994 to October 2002, where supervision of facility changes and event management was critical. Richard's early career included a role as Director of Operations at Comcast-Spectacor from October 1988 to October 2000, overseeing union trades and building operations for professional sports teams and concerts. Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Temple University, completed between 1975 and 1979.
