Gayatri Patil is currently employed as a Food Scientist I at The Fresh Factory, with prior experience as a Product Development Intern. Gayatri served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Illinois Tech's Institute for Food Safety and Health from January 2022 to May 2023, where studies focused on the survival of Listeria monocytogenes. Previous internships include R&D Applications Intern at EverGrain Ingredients, where work involved developing prototypes for barley-rice protein products, low acid protein beverages, and various plant-based beverage concepts. Gayatri also gained experience as a Content Writer at TechNews and as a New Product Development Intern at Symega Food Ingredients Ltd., focusing on product formulation and quality assurance. Early experience includes a Production Internship at Mapro Foods Pvt Ltd, involving laboratory analysis of food products and customer interaction. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Technology in Food Science and Technology from Jaipur National University and a graduate degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
