Nathan Laurell

Nathan Laurell is a seasoned entrepreneur and investment professional with extensive experience across various industries. As Co-Founder and Director of The Fresh Factory since January 2016, Nathan has significantly contributed to the growth of clean-label and plant-based food brands through a vertically integrated platform. In addition, Nathan serves as Principal at R2 Companies, a private real estate firm, and as Managing Partner at New Frontier Holdings, which focuses on sustainability and early-stage ventures. Previously, Nathan founded ampCNG LLC, transforming waste into renewable fuels, and held leadership roles at Infinium Capital Management, where Nathan played a key role in establishing the firm’s energy business. Nathan’s career began with founding Technacity, a company focused on developing technology and fostering start-ups. Nathan holds a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and is currently a Graduate Student at Large at the University of Chicago.
