Eugene Wier

Eugene Wier is a Restoration Project Manager at The Freshwater Trust, a position held since April 2012, where responsibilities include locating and developing riparian restoration projects in the Rogue River basin of Southwest Oregon to facilitate thermal offset credits for local municipalities. Prior experience includes serving as a Natural Resource Tech at Rogue Valley Council of Governments from September 2008 to April 2012 and a role at the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in Medford from June 2004 to October 2009. Eugene Wier holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies and Biology from Southern Oregon University, completed in 2004, and an Associate of Science degree in Environmental Studies from Columbia Community College, awarded in 1998.
