Joe Whitworth

Joe Whitworth has a diverse work experience in fundraising and non-profit organizations. Joe started their career as the Executive Director at CCS Fundraising, where they were responsible for overseeing all aspects of capital campaigns. Joe then moved on to Dartmouth College, where they worked for the Dartmouth Alumni Fund, raising annual operating funds. After that, they joined Outward Bound USA as the Director of Operations, overseeing field operations and program development. Currently, they are the President and CEO of The Freshwater Trust, the largest water-focused non-profit in the United States, with significant growth during their tenure.

Joe Whitworth received their Bachelor's Degree in American Government and Politics (United States) from Dartmouth College, where they studied from 1987 to 1991. Later, they pursued a Doctor of Law - JD degree in Environment and Natural Resources Law from Lewis & Clark Law School, attending from 1998 to 2000.
