Strength and Conditioning Coach, Educator at The Front Climbing Club

Beverly Albert, MSc, CSCS has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of strength and conditioning, research, and education. Starting in 2016, Beverly worked as a Strength and Conditioning Intern at Fearless Athletics, where they gained practical experience in developing training programs. In 2018, Beverly served as a Graduate Assistant at Peak Health and Fitness, University of Utah, where they conducted performance tests, interpreted data, and mentored staff and volunteers.

At the University of Utah, Beverly also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, collaborating with co-instructors to deliver lectures and instructional content, as well as providing feedback on assignments and exams. Beverly later interned as a Strength and Conditioning Coach with the university's Olympic sports teams, further honing their expertise in athletic training.

In 2020, Beverly joined Neuro Performance Integration as a Research Director, responsible for overseeing research projects, managing data collection and analysis, and leading a team of professionals. During this time, they also obtained their MSc degree.

Beverly expanded their professional experience by working as an Education and Research Consultant at Gnarly Nutrition, where they provided expertise in curriculum development and research.

Currently, Beverly is working at The Front Climbing Club as a Strength and Conditioning Coach and Educator. In this role, they design and implements strength and conditioning programs, conducts performance testing, manages athlete assessment data, and collaborates with various departments and individuals to optimize athlete performance.

Additionally, Beverly will be joining the University of Utah in 2023 as an Applied Sport Scientist Intern, further expanding their knowledge and skills in the field.

Beverly Albert, MSc, CSCS has a diverse education history. In 2018, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and Physiology from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Following that, from 2018 to 2020, they pursued a Master's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science at the University of Utah. Continuing their educational journey, in 2021, they completed a Health Professions Education Certificate at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions, focusing on Healthcare Education. Additionally, they are currently working towards a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Human and Sports Performance, also at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions.

In addition to their academic achievements, Beverly Albert has obtained several certifications. In 2019, they became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). In 2018, they earned the certification of Certified Exercise Physiologist (ACSM EP-C) from the American College of Sports Medicine. Beverly has also received certifications in Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED from the American Red Cross (2018) and as a 200 Hour Registered Yoga Instructor from Yoga Alliance (2020). Furthermore, they are a Functional Range Assessment Specialist (2021) and a Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist (2021) certified by Functional Range Seminars and Functional Anatomy Seminars, respectively.
