Climbing Coach And Team Coordinator at The Front Climbing Club

Hilary Silberman has over two decades of experience in various roles related to coaching, education, and nonprofit work. Hilary currently works as a Climbing Coach and Team Coordinator at The Front Climbing Club, where they coach the competitive climbing team and handles administrative tasks. In addition, they are a Private Climbing Coach, providing individual and group coaching to both adults and children. Hilary is also a Board Member at TRAILS UTAH, a nonprofit organization.

Previously, Hilary worked as an Assistant Professor, Clinical at the University of Utah, where they supervised graduate students in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders and taught them various aspects of therapy planning and implementation. Hilary also supervised community-based screenings.

Hilary has also been involved in nonprofit organizations, serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at HERA Women's Cancer Foundation and Girl's Education International. In these roles, they supported the organizations' missions and chaired the Development Committee at HERA Women's Cancer Foundation.

Hilary has also worked as an Educational Consultant at Discovery Toys, selling educational toys and conducting parent groups to discuss child development.

Hilary began their career as a Speech Language Pathologist and Auditory Verbal Therapist at Primary Children's Medical Center. In this role, they provided therapy and diagnostic testing for children with hearing impairment, including those with hearing aids and cochlear implants.

Hilary Silberman has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Audiology/Audiologist and Speech-Language Pathology/Pathologist from Ithaca College. Hilary also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Pathologist from Teachers College, Columbia University.

In addition to their degrees, Hilary Silberman has obtained various certifications. These include the CCC-SLP certification from The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), a certification in Fundraising 101 from the Utah Non-Profits Association, the It Takes Two to Talk certification from The Hanen Centre, the Major Gifts, Fundraising Fundamentals certification from the University of Utah - Non Profit Academy of Excellence, the SPEAK-OUT certification from the Parkinson Voice Project, and the Utah State Professional License Coaching and Speech Language Pathologist certifications from the State of Utah.
