Andy Moss MBA MCBI has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Andy currently serves as the Head of Fund at The FSE Group since May 2020 and as an Advisory Board Member at Be the Business since February 2022. Previously, they held the position of Guardian of the Standard of Wrought Plate in Birmingham at Birmingham Assay Office, starting in April 2021. Prior to that, Andy had an extensive career at Lloyds Bank, where they took on various roles. These include Director - Large Corporates, Midlands from February 2017 to May 2020, Area Director, Manufacturing - Midlands from April 2014 to March 2017, and Area Director, Business Development in Commercial Banking from April 2005 to April 2014. Andy started their career at Lloyds Bank in September 1985 and worked in various roles in the commercial arena. Throughout their career, Andy has focused on providing financial solutions, developing export opportunities, and supporting manufacturers and trading businesses.
Andy Moss has a diverse education history. Andy obtained a Master of Business Administration degree in Executive studies from Birmingham City University from 2020 to 2022. Additionally, they pursued a Senior Leader Masters Degree (Level 7) in Business Administration and Management, General from the Chartered Management Institute from 2020 to 2023. In 2020, they earned a Chartered Banker certification from The Chartered Banker Institute, specializing in Banking and Financial Services. Prior to this, in 2019, they completed a Level 3 Qualification in UK Financial Regulation & Securities from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI). Moreover, Andy has a Banking Certificate from The London Institute of Banking & Finance that they earned in 1990. Andy also holds a certification in Sustainability Essentials for Business from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) obtained in March 2019. Additionally, they are certified as an SME Mentor from the Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs, Trustee Readiness Training from BVSC, The Centre for Voluntary Action, Manufacturing Awareness Accredited from WMG, University of Warwick, and Lexcel Consultant from The Law Society, all obtained in various years ranging from 2010 to 2015.
