Rick Nelson has held various positions throughout their career. From 2012 to present, they have been the Chief Executive Officer of The Fulfillment Lab, Inc., a logistics, sales, and supply-chain management organization that delivers customized business solutions built for the advertiser. From 2007 to 2012, they were the COO of Almost Home After School Center, where they wrote a business plan to acquire $700,000 in funding for building, start-up capital, and cash flow, as well as designed a 5,000 square foot building to meet industry code and established a marketing plan and concept. From 1998 to 2007, they were the Sales/Operations Manager of Florida Central Binder, where they more than quadrupled total annual company revenue from $220,000 to $980,000, reduced level of inventory by 45%, and converted hourly compensation of assembly line employees to a "pay by the piece" model, which reduced payroll by 18%.

Rick Nelson attended Jesuit High School from 1988 to 1992, where they earned their High School Diploma in Business. Rick then attended the University of South Florida from 1993 to 1997, where they earned their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
