Allan Olingo

Allan Olingo is a seasoned journalism professional currently serving as the Bureau Chief for East Africa at The Fuller Project since September 2023. Prior to this role, Allan Olingo held various positions at Nation Media Group from March 2013 to September 2023, including Group News Editor, News Editor for The EastAfrican, and Senior Reporter for The EastAfrican. Allan Olingo began their career as a Reporter at The Standard Group LTD from August 2010 to February 2013. In terms of education, Allan Olingo earned a Master of Science in Digital Audience Strategy from Arizona State University in August 2023, completed an Executive Training program with the Bloomberg Media Initiative Africa at Strathmore University in 2016, and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Nairobi in 2008. Allan Olingo's foundational education includes a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education from Maranda High School.
