Stephen Houserman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in economic development and communications. Currently serving as a Commissioner for the Arkansas Veterans Commission since March 2024 and as the Economic Development Director for the City of Clarksville, Arkansas since February 2020, Stephen possesses strong skills in planning, project management, and community workforce development. Prior roles include Director of Communications for the Republican Party of Arkansas, where responsibilities involved media relations and public engagement strategies, and Infantry Squad Leader with the United States Marine Forces Reserve. Stephen's background also includes project management and marketing with Ammo Can Man LLC and campaign management for political candidates, alongside significant military logistics experience. Educated in Political Science, International Relations, and Economics from the University of the Ozarks, with additional studies at George Mason University and the University of Maryland Global Campus, Stephen is committed to promoting economic growth and community development.
