Eileen McRae has a long and varied work experience. Eileen started in 2006 as a Spanish Teacher at Spokane Falls Community College. In 2007, they became a Community Youth Advocate and Case Manager at Save the Family Foundation of Arizona. Eileen then worked as a Lead Case Manager at Friends of Youth from 2012 to 2013, and a Recreation Leader at West Central Community Center from 2013 to 2016. From 2016 to 2021, they worked at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health as Chief Administrative Coordinator/Managing Editor of the International Journal of Health Services. Eileen was also Self Employed as an English Teacher from 2015 to 2018, and worked as an Events and Office Manager, as well as an Administrative Assistant, at Akommo from 2018 to 2020. In 2020, they worked as a Delivery Driver at UPS, and currently works as Director of Marketing & Operations, as well as an Operations Associate, at The Fund.
Eileen McRae obtained their Bachelor of Arts from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2006, majoring in Psychology and Spanish, with a Latin American Studies Certificate and a Sociology Minor. From 2013 to 2016, they completed a Master's degree in Social and Public Policy from the Barcelona School of Management, Universitat Pompeu Fabra, and Johns Hopkins University. In 2015, they attended the Fall Institute Barcelona at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Additionally, they studied abroad at Universitat Pompeu Fabra from September 2004 to December 2004.
