Remco Holland

Remco Holland has a diverse work experience, starting with their most recent role as a Full Stack Developer at Politie Nederland since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Independent Cloud Engineer at The Future Group from March 2018 onwards. Remco also served as a Full Stack Developer at Randstad from November 2020 to October 2022, and at Nederlandse Spoorwegen from March 2018 to October 2020. Remco's previous roles include working as an AWS Engineer at insmart for a brief period in May to July 2020, an Oracle Application Developer at Spir-it: Rechtspraak-ICT from September 2014 to February 2018, and an Oracle Middleware Consultant at Transfer Solutions from May 2013 to February 2018. Remco also worked as an Oracle ADF Developer at Nederlandse BridgeBond from September 2013 to August 2014, and as a Teacher (Mathematics) at Instituut Blankestijn from January 2013 to April 2013. Remco started their career as a Graduate at HEMA from November 2011 to December 2012.

Remco Holland has an extensive education history. Remco obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Production and Logistics from the University of Twente, where they studied from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Engineering at the same university, from 2002 to 2010.

Before entering university, Remco attended Twickel College Hengelo, where they earned their Atheneum degree with a specialization in Natuur & Techniek. Remco studied there from 1996 to 2002.

In addition to their formal education, Remco also holds various certifications. These include Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) from Scrum.org obtained in June 2018, Certified Implementation Specialist in BPM Suite 12c from Oracle obtained in December 2017, Certified Associate in PL/SQL Developer from Oracle obtained in April 2016, Certified Master in Java SE6 Developer from Oracle obtained in March 2015, Certified Professional in Java SE 7 Programmer from Oracle obtained in March 2014, and Certified Associate in Java SE 7 Programmer from Oracle obtained in July 2013.

Furthermore, Remco has received certifications related to cloud computing and technology. Remco obtained the following certifications: Docker Certified Associate from Docker, Inc obtained in November 2022, Amazon Web Services Developer - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) obtained in September 2020, Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) obtained in June 2019, and Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) obtained in April 2019.
