Robert Krom

Robert Krom is an experienced Business Consultant with a diverse background in various industries. Robert is currently working at The Future Group and Rijkswaterstaat as a Business Consultant and Business Analyst, respectively. Prior to these roles, they were the Owner of KROM | Laat het zien.

Robert has held several positions at different organizations. At Centraal Orgaan opvang asielzoekers (COA), they worked as a Business Analyst and was involved in various projects, including emergency assignments and a SharePoint project. Before that, they served as a Klantfunctiemanager/Business Consultant at the Koninklijke Bibliotheek (KB), where they implemented the Medieval Meme Generator and was responsible for customer login processes and the implementation of iDIN identification.

Additionally, Robert has worked as a Business Consultant at Portiva, where they played a crucial role in implementing Valo Intranet for large semi-government organizations and a national accountancy and advisory chain. Robert also worked as a Business Consultant Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing and SharePoint Information Specialist at Robeco, where they led projects, published instruction videos, and facilitated workshops around SharePoint usage.

Earlier in their career, Robert worked as a Functioneel Ontwerper at Verbond van Verzekeraars, creating functional descriptions for SharePoint 2010. Robert also held the position of Consultant at PostNL, where they configured iPads for information exchange with the SharePoint 2010 environment.

Throughout their career, Robert has gained extensive experience in IT consultancy, specializing in the implementation of Microsoft technologies such as Exchange, SharePoint, and Office 365. Robert has been involved in various roles at Rubicon, where they worked on projects for clients such as Pensioenfonds Horeca & Catering, Nationale Nederlanden, MN, and Verbond van Verzekeraars.

Robert Krom earned their Bachelor's Degree in Information Sciences from De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences from 2003 to 2007. Prior to that, they attended Interconfessioneel Makeblijde College in Rijswijk from 1998 to 2000, where they completed their High School education with a focus on Dutch, English, Economics, History, Physics, Math, and Geography. Before that, from 1994 to 1998, they attended Erasmus college in Zoetermeer for their High School education, although their field of study is not specified. In addition to their academic qualifications, Robert Krom obtained the certification of Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org in July 2017.
