Nicolas Moës

Nicolas Moës is an experienced professional in AI governance and policy, currently serving as the Director of European AI Governance at The Future Society since July 2018, focusing on legislative developments and governance mechanisms for AI in Europe. Additional roles include Committee Member for key international standardization bodies and expert networks in AI. As the founder of Nicolas Moës, Inc., independent consulting on trustworthy AI systems is provided. Previous experience includes leading operations, research projects, and partnerships, with a strong academic foundation including a Master’s from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor's from Maastricht University, complemented by an exchange program at Peking University.
