Melissa Kennedy

Melissa Kennedy has a diverse work experience spanning from 2000 to 2023. Melissa currently works as a Marketing & Communications Consultant at Verizon since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the VP of Marketing & PR at The Game Day starting from April 2022. From 2014 to 2021, Melissa held the position of Senior Director of Communications at Comcast Advertising, where they were responsible for driving business priorities and strategic communication plans. Before that, they co-founded Hoopla Marketing & Public Relations in 2009 and managed high-profile branding and marketing campaigns. Melissa also worked at Comcast from 2003 to 2009, where they held positions of Marketing Consultant and Vice President of Marketing Communications at CN8, The Comcast Network. Additionally, Melissa has experience working at Comcast Cable Communications as a Director of Special Projects from 2000 to 2003, where they focused on strategic marketing efforts and brand communications.

Melissa Kennedy attended Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania from 1986 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications/Journalism.
