The Gathering Church
Will Blount is an experienced worship leader with a strong background in directing and teaching music within various church environments. Currently serving as Worship Pastor at The Gathering Church since April 2019, Will previously held positions as Worship Leader and Assistant Music Director at LinkedUP Church from July 2015 to April 2019, and as Worship Leader and Music Director at Life Changes Church from January 2012 to April 2019. Earlier roles include Praise & Worship/Music Director at New Victory Family Life Church and Praise & Worship Leader at Agape Global Church. Will's education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Composition, Music History and Performance from The Art Institutes, completed in 2011. Key responsibilities throughout Will's career have included directing worship, vocal instruction, material selection, and developing worship culture within church communities.

We strive to love people incredibly well, as Jesus did, by accepting each other as we are, by serving people at their point of need, and by creating a safe environment where hospitality, love, and belonging are available to all. We encounter God through passionate worship, through cultural relevance and engagement, through service to the local community and the larger world, and through accepting and sharing God’s ongoing mercy and forgiveness. We will focus on demonstrating and sharing the message of grace with those who feel far from God and with those whose longings for God have not been satisfied through common religious experience.
