Bailey Cichon

Bailey Cichon is a skilled multimedia professional with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Iowa. Currently serving as a Social Video Producer at The Gazette in Cedar Rapids since May 2021, Bailey creates multimedia content for storytelling and writes accompanying articles for Curious Iowa. Previous experiences include a Social Video Intern at The Gazette, where impactful daily recaps of the Bahena Rivera trial were produced, and serving as Director of DITV at The Daily Iowan, where a new show format was launched and a staff of approximately 30 was managed. Recognition includes being a finalist for Great Plains Broadcaster of the Year and winning multiple Iowa Broadcast News Association Awards in 2021. Additional roles include successful internships at Law & Crime, Circle The Date, and Love Stories TV, showcasing expertise in social media strategy and engaging video content.
