Rob Gray

Rob Gray is an experienced sports journalist currently serving as the Iowa state sports reporter for The Cedar Rapids Gazette since January 2022. Gray has been a senior writer for CycloneFanatic.com since August 2014, specializing in Iowa State athletics. Previously, Gray worked as a freelance writer for the Cedar Rapids Gazette from March 2011 to May 2014, focusing on Iowa State athletics, including NCAA Tournament coverage. Gray also spent over ten years at The Des Moines Register as a reporter, covering a wide range of topics but primarily focusing on auto racing, Northern Iowa football, and high school basketball.
