Carissa Martin

Carissa Martin, Psy.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive experience in correctional and rehabilitation settings. Currently employed at The GEO Group, Inc. since September 2021, Carissa works at the Blackwater River Correctional and Rehabilitation Facility. Prior roles include licensed clinical psychologist and postdoctoral resident at Fulton State Hospital, and a predoctoral intern at Compass Health Network. Carissa's background also includes practicum positions at various locations, including Providence House Family Residential Preservation Program and Jefferson County Public Schools. Carissa holds a Doctor of Psychology and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Spalding University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science and Psychology from Bellarmine University.
