Stephen MacMahon

Stephen MacMahon is the current Director at The George Institute for Global Health. Stephen has also been a Professor of Medicine & James Martin Fellow at the University of Oxford, and a Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Sydney.

MacMahon has made significant contributions to the field of cardiovascular medicine throughout their career. Stephen has authored over 1,000 scientific papers and their research has helped to improve the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease around the world.

Stephen MacMahon has a FAA from the Australian Academy of Science, an FMedSci from the British Academy of Medical Sciences, a Doctor of Science from UNSW, and an FACC from the American College of Cardiology. Stephen also has a PhD in Medicine from UNSW.
