Bailey Widener

Bailey Widener is an experienced clinical researcher currently working at the Developing Brain Institute since June 2025, while also serving as a clinical specialist at The George Washington University Hospital since January 2022. Prior to these roles, Bailey held positions as an occupational therapist at MedStar Health from August 2018 to November 2023 and as a contractor at Oklahoma Children's Hospital OU Health from September 2021 to March 2022. Bailey's early career includes experience as a graduate research assistant at Washington University School of Medicine from March 2016 to May 2017, where involvement included quantitative and qualitative data analysis, manuscript preparation, and grant proposal development. Additionally, Bailey worked as a waiver facilitator and targeted case manager at Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center from August 2013 to August 2014. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Washington University in St. Louis, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Kansas.
