Scott Reynolds

CEO & Co-Founder at The Get Smart Group

Scott Reynolds is the CEO and Co-Founder of The Get Smart Group. Scott has also previously worked for The Realizers, LLC and a2bTV.

Scott started their career in 2006 with a2bTV as the CEO. a2bTV is the premier (and largest) provider of American television programming to American citizens living overseas (expats). They maintain a data center in Los Angeles, CA and send programming to over 65 countries at any given time.

As a founder and eventually CEO, Scott helped steer the company from initial idea through their first data center in El Segundo in early 2007 and on to over 2500 square feet of space in 2012. Scott managed the growth of their sales and support teams to handle the increased work load. In order to maintain customer support around the world, they hired support staff in three countries representing a cross-section of time zones. They also hired sales people in strategic markets such as the US Military and high density expat markets such as Tokyo, London, Seoul and Sydney.

Working with a2btv also gave Scott a strong grasp of international copyright law, media distribution technologies and programming partnerships throughout the world. Scott considers himself an expert on DMCA law and how to apply that to emerging media companies.

Scott still retains a board seat and is active in strategic decisions of the company. They continue to grow and serve the expat market around the world and are often the closest connection to home that their customers have.

Some individuals on their team include Joshua Harmening - Senior Account Manager, Alyssa Lichtenstein - Account Executive, and Travis Branco - Senior Graphic Designer.
