Azadeh Jamalian

Azadeh Jamalian, Ph.D., serves as the Founder and CEO of The Giant Room, a position held since July 2018, dedicated to innovating educational practices. Prior to this role, Azadeh co-founded Tiggly and acted as Chief Learning Officer, where contributions included the development of learning systems implemented in over 4,000 schools and international distribution. Azadeh has also participated in the TED Residency program in late 2018, worked as Head of Education Strategy at littleBits, and served as an adjunct assistant professor at Teachers College, Columbia University. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Cognitive Science in Education and a Master's in Instructional Technology and Media from Columbia University, complemented by a Bachelor of Applied Science in Systems Engineering from Simon Fraser University.
