Ara Sobek

Ara Sobek has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. They began their career as a Design Engineer at Aries Electronics, Inc., where they produced engineering documentation for custom RF integrated circuit test sockets. After working for Aries Electronics, Inc., they joined Pathway Systems, Inc. as a Design Engineer, where they were responsible for mechanical design, scheduling, manufacturing support, cost tracking, project presentations, and customer support in the semi-conductor industry. Following their time at Pathway Systems, Inc., Ara worked at McLees Incorporated as a Project Manager and Branch Manager, excelling in optimizing project execution and managing multiple simultaneous projects. Currently, they are working at The Gideons International, where they have held various roles including Sr. Manager, USA Division, Director, USA, Director Strategic Initiatives, and currently as the Director of Gideon Education & Training.

Ara Sobek attended Lehigh University from 1994 to 1998 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
