Jacie deHoop

Jacie deHoop co-founded The GIST in 2018, where they successfully built a community of over 1 million GISTers with high engagement rates and partnerships with notable companies. Prior to that, they worked at OPTIMUS | SBR as an Associate in the Financial Services Group from October 2017 to June 2018. Before that, they held the positions of Senior Analyst and Analyst at the same company from February 2017 to September 2017 and December 2015 to January 2017, respectively. Jacie also worked as an Executive Trainee at Hudson's Bay Company from October 2014 to October 2015 and as a Commercial Lines Intern at Chubb Insurance from June 2013 to August 2013.

Jacie deHoop has an Honours Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) degree from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University. The specific start and end years for this degree are not provided. In 2013, Jacie also attended Fudan University's School of Business for a short period of time and studied International Finance.
