Laura Pastore has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Laura worked as a Communications Coordinator (Editor) at CAMH, where they performed substantive editing, copy editing, proofreading, and plain language editing for various print and online materials. Laura also provided editorial and project management support for texts targeting a range of audiences.

At The GIST, Laura held the positions of Lead Editor and Content Editor. As Lead Editor, they edited a twice-weekly newsletter focused on making sports more accessible and inclusive. Laura's work experience also includes an internship at Nelson Education, where they worked independently on a catalogue for the Professional Trade and Resellers department. Laura wrote and edited detailed descriptions for over 300 titles, which were used by the sales team and distributed to retailers across Canada.

Laura Pastore earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from York University in 2012. Laura'smajor was Professional Writing, and they had a minor in Business Administration.
