Richard Dalgleish

Richard Dalgleish is an accomplished culinary professional with extensive experience in prestigious hotels and restaurants. Currently serving as Estate Executive Sous Chef at The Gleneagles Hotel since January 2019, Dalgleish previously held the position of Senior Sous Chef at The Balmoral, a Rocco Forte Hotel, where Restaurant Number One earned a Michelin Star. Career highlights also include roles such as Junior Sous Chef at Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, Head Chef at Balbirnie House Hotel Limited, Pastry Chef at Greywalls Hotel, and Chef de Partie at Burj Al Arab. Dalgleish began culinary training as a Demi Chef De Partie at The Balmoral from May 2000 to April 2005, following an educational background at Penicuik High from 1994 to 2000.
