Colin Gordon

Colin Gordon is an experienced distillery manager currently serving as the Ardbeg Distillery Manager at The Glenmorangie Company since October 2020. Previously, Colin held various roles at Diageo, including Site Operations Manager at Port Ellen Maltings for three years and Distillery Manager at Lagavulin Distillery. Colin's career began with a three-year trainee Site Operations Manager program in the distillation and maturation sectors. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Brewing and Distilling from Heriot-Watt University and a BSc (Hons) in Zoology from the University of Aberdeen. Additional experience includes roles as a tour guide at Blair Athol Distillery and Edradour Distillery, a quantity surveyor at Mike Mackenzie Builders, and a field technician with Earth Data, showcasing a diverse background in both the distilling industry and project management.
