Craig Herndon has a diverse range of experience in the technology industry. Craig is currently working as the Director of Product Strategy and Development at The Glimpse Group. Prior to this, they held the role of Director Of QA at the same company. Before joining The Glimpse Group, Craig co-founded Digital Precept LLC, an independent game studio focused on virtual reality devices and technology. In this role, they took on various responsibilities, including CFO, Operations Officer, Project Manager, and developer. Craig also served as an XR consultant at the company. Additionally, Craig worked as a lead instructor at XR Terra, where they developed and taught the XR Terra developer curriculum to help individuals transition into the XR industry. Craig has also been involved in the Boston VR community, serving as a board member and former lead organizer of Boston VR, where they were responsible for organizing events, developing new programs, and fostering community relations. Earlier in their career, Craig worked at The Boston Consulting Group as a Senior Programmer and Programmer Analyst. Craig has also hosted The Virtuality Podcast, featuring discussions with technologists driving virtual and augmented reality forward. Before that, they worked at Wayfair as a software engineer and at Cook Systems International as an associate developer. Craig's work experience also includes research lab assistant roles at the University of Memphis.
Craig Herndon attended Christian Brothers High School from 2005 to 2009. Craig then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science at The University of Memphis from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Game Production from ELVTR, although the specific month and year of obtaining the certification are not provided.
